Kick-Off Activities

- Issue "media alerts" or press releases to radio and television stations, newspapers, and civic and social organizations, announcing that May is "NATIONAL VICTIMS OF PORNOGRAPHY AWARENESS MONTH."
- "Kick off" the month in a variety of ways, such as: an open house, school event, special luncheon or dinner, conference or seminar, fund raiser, media event, etc. Involve celebrities and/or
public officials to maximize interest. Local "celebrities" could include your local television/radio or sports personality.
